These Shoes were made for Walking

A couple weekends ago, Josh and I went to Stride Rite and got Lydia her first pair of walking shoes!

Although they were a little awkward to walk in at first, Lydia immediately began to break them in, and she quickly got the hang of it. (Probably because she likes to practice walking for hours each day, as shown in the video below!)

60th Anniversary Party

Earlier this month marked Grandpa Wally and Grandma Marge's 60th wedding anniversary. To celebrate, the family got together and threw a party in their honor. They were surprised to see all the beautiful decorations!

Dinner was delicious!

And so was dessert!

Over the past couple months, Lydia has learned many new tricks. Here are a few of them:

Windy Wednesday

On windy Wednesday of this week, Lydia and I went out to run some errands and have lunch with G'mama and Aunt Cass. Each time the wind blew against Lydia's face, she would wrinkle up her little nose and make the funniest faces, as seen below:

Aunt Jill warned us it was going to be a windy day. Don't worry, Aunt Jill, we held on to Lydia tight so that she didn't blow away! :)
